CBD is big news these days, and it is no surprise that most users are choosing to vape CBD oil for both health and leisure. There is still some controversy as to the actual benefits of CBD oil – bear in mind that at the moment it cannot be legally sold as a health product, but is legal otherwise – yet the sheer numbers of customers testifying to its ability to help with many medical ailments is something that cannot be overlooked.
In this article, we will look at the health benefits that have been reported by users, and will also advise you as to why vaping is the best way of taking CBD. We will start with a brief look at what CBD is, how to tell you are buying a legal product, and anything else you might want to know, so let’s get started!
Buying Quality CBD
CBD – it’s short for cannabidiol – is one of a great number of compounds that can be extracted from the cannabis plant, and has been made legal across the USA and in a number of other countries, too. However, before you rush out and buy it believing it to be legal ‘weed’ there are a few things you need to know!
CBD is not weed; it may be extracted from the same plant – or at least a strain of the cannabis plant known as Industrial Hemp – but it does not give you the high that you get with marijuana. This is because the psychoactive element in cannabis is THC, and this is legal only in very small trace amounts in most places in CBD, and in other places not at all.
What you do get with legal CBD – that is a product extracted from industrial hemp as required by law – is a sense of relaxation. Many people, for example, take CBD to combat anxiety, with reportedly great effect.
Why Vape CBD?
So, the health benefits of CBD – while not formally accepted as research is still underway – include that of relief from pain. Many people have reported taking CBD for chronic pain, and it seems that it does indeed work. Anxiety relief and combatting depression are other widely reported benefits, plus it is also said to help with sleep patterns and can be used to treat some skin conditions. Research into its use to stem the growth of cancer cells is also underway, and while positive results have been recorded using laboratory mice, it would be wrong for us to claim it as a cancer beating wonder drug – at least not yet.
Why should you vape CBD? You can take it as CBD edibles, but this means you need to wait for it to pass through the digestive system. If you vape it, it goes directly into the lungs, and is released through the lungs into the bloodstream. It’s the most efficient and quickest way to get the effects.
It is clear that CBD does have many health benefits – even if they are yet to be ratified by the relevant authorities – and that pain relief is one, so if you suffer from chronic pain or any other of the problems mentioned, why not give it a go?
